These records, turned over to the Senate Whitewater Committee on January 5, 1996, turned up in the White House after being under subpoena for almost two years. The records were discovered in the White House Book Room, which is adjacent to the Clintons' private residence and is restricted to all but a few individuals. At issue is Mrs. Clinton's involvement in the sham real estate deal known as Castle Grande. The Committee concluded that "Mrs. Clinton's involvement in Castle Grande was much more extensive than she has thus far owned up to." You are still attaching Clinton's behavior to Starr's in order to prove your point. Most people think like this, unfortunately. Or, my behavior isn't bad because (you, the nation, your company, etc) will benefit from it. Most people switch or confuse the issues to rationalize their negative behavior, which is very sad for all of us. It takes a lot of mental training and discipline to keep your moral issues straight.

Your mistake is that you ASSUME I applaud Clinton's behavior. I don't. I find his sexual dalliances a HUGE embarrasment. I see it as a serious weakness, but that does not excuse Starr from demonstrating to the world that it's OK to terrorize and intimidate innocent people, violate constitutional law, and display the total disrespect for human dignity that he has. I assume that you would not mind Starr dragging your innocent loved ones under the hot lamp tomorrow because he thought maybe they could add something to his investigation?
